My name is Hop Bui, the breeder behind The Brothers Shrimp.
The animals come first. Everything else follows.
My interest in Caridina began in Australia in 2016, when I first saw them in a local aquarium shop. I fell in love simply watching them and began keeping Crystal Red and Blue Bolt shrimp. I don’t have photographs of that first encounter, but the memory has stayed with me.
Today, I run two farms in Vietnam: one in Vũng Tàu and another nearby. Together, they hold 116 racks of Caridina, including Hornets, BOAs and Galaxies, alongside my ongoing breeding projects. This website is my farm journal, where I share the journey, the methods I use, and what I learn from the shrimp.
